The Scent Connection Creative Perfumer Contest!

Create the best fragrance composition from our perfume oil collection for a chance to win a grand prize, and get your fragrance creation turned into an air freshener!

How to Join

Each purchase of a 30ml oil, or a membership package, while the contest is open, grants you one entry into the contest. When making your purchase, just notify the staff that you wish to submit an entry.

You will receive a sample bottle & your entry card. Write down your recipe on the card, indicating the quantity of each ingredient clearly, and submit a sample of it in the bottle.

Note: Your recipe must ONLY include the Scent Connection oils listed below. All entries must be submitted on or before July 1, 2021.

Prizes

Judging

Our expert perfumers will judge all the entries and select 5 finalists. From July 2 to July 4, the 5 finalist compositions will be on display in the Scent Connection store, where all Scent Connection members can sample them & vote on the best.

The finalist display will not include any labels, to ensure that our members vote with their noses only :)

The votes of all the members will be collected & the winners will be announced on July 7, 2021

Rules & Regulations

1. Entry requirements: The entrant must purchase a membership package or a 30ml oil bottle between June 19, 2021 & July 1, 2021. One individual can submit multiple entries, up to a maximum of 3 entries. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older.

2. Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted on or before July 1, 2021.

3. Submission Format: Submissions must include both a recipe AND a sample. Example recipe: “2 drops of peppermint oil + 2 drops of rose oil + 1 drop of jasmine”

4. Choice of winner(s): The participants agree that the Scent Connection has the right to select the finalists based on the judgement of our perfumers. If there are insufficient entries of high quality, the Scent Connection has the right to extend the deadline as needed.

5. By submitting an entry, you are accepting that if your composition is selected as one of the 3 winners, you will relinquish all claims, rights and benefits related to the modification, reproduction, distribution & use of the work, other than the prize awarded.
